Château La Rose Maréchale
“La Maréchale” was the name of one of the fifteen French galleys that participated in the naval battle of Genoa on 1st September 1638, against six galleys from Sicily and nine from Spain. The ship is said to have sought shelter in the small harbour of Cadourne in 1696, giving it the name “La Maréchale”.
This wine is a blend of the youngest Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines at Coufran. It has a rounded, supple and fruity style, and is designed to be enjoyed after 3 to 8 years’ ageing.
